Building on the impact of our first donation drive, The Verda Project is launching a second initiative to further support Alliance for Children Everywhere’s agriculture project at the Chiyaze Farm in Chongwe. Working closely with Mr. Chiyaze, the farm manager, our goal is to donate over 40 fruit trees of different varieties, along with essential farm equipment and supplies. This effort will strengthen food production, support long term sustainability, and expand the reach of ACE’s work with vulnerable children and families.

The Verda Project is supporting House of Moses Orphanage (part of Alliance for Children Everywhere) in Lusaka, Zambia, by donating 20–30 fruit trees to expand their existing farm into a sustainable orchard. Alongside the trees, we will provide basic equipment and/or financial support for their mission and guarantee long-term food security.

Our first donation drive was a meaningful success. On the final day we visited House of Moses Orphanage in Lusaka, where we met with Mr. Chileshe, the orphanage secretary, and Madam Matrida from Alliance for Children Everywhere Zambia, an organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable children, keeping families together, and supporting education and community empowerment across Zambia and beyond.
We also met Mr. Chiyaze, the farm manager at the ACE Farm in Chongwe, who gave us a tour and explained their vision for sustainable agriculture, training, and food production.
We delivered and signed over 27 fruit trees and K2000 in cash to support the expansion of their farm orchard. This contribution will help grow nutritious food, strengthen the farm project, and benefit the children and families under ACE’s care.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to support this project. Your support made this first step possible, and we look forward to growing The Verda Project even further following the impact we achieved today.
